Teachers’ Travel Award

The aim of this award is to encourage ASM members involved in teaching microbiology at the tertiary level to attend the annual scientific meeting of the Australian Society for Microbiology.

The recipient receives a plaque given at the meeting’s award ceremony, $1000 prize money and a full conference registration to the Annual Scientific Meeting.

ASM USA Teachers’ Travel Award

The aim of this award is to enable attendance at the American Society of Microbiology Conference for undergraduate educators, known as ASMCUE.

The award consists of up to $3,000 in travel expenses to attend the American Society of Microbiology Conference.

ASM David White Excellence in Teaching Award

Applications are invited for the David White Excellence in Teaching Award to recognise excellence in the teaching of, and/or innovation in the teaching of microbiology in Australia.

The recipient receives a plaque given at the meeting’s award ceremony, $1000 prize money and a full conference registration to the Annual Scientific Meeting
